ABOUT ME

Hi, I'm Sydney Kim.

My name is Sydney Kim and I was born and raised in Houston, Texas. With a passion for creativity and connection, I’ve developed a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a knack for storytelling through marketing and social media. I specialize in crafting engaging marketing content through digital media and brand marketing.

I fell in love with Social Media and the idea of storytelling through digital media my freshman year of college. I was a student-athlete on ASU Women's Track and Field team and completed two NIL deals through my personal social media, one with Sprout's Farmer Market and the other with Liquid IV. My love for connecting through communications, marketing, social media, and photography has only grown.

I recently graduated Summa Cum Laude, from Arizona State University, with dual degrees in Sports Business and Business Management with a minor in Communications. I was selected to be in Sports Business Scholars, which is an on campus organization of the top 20 Sports Business Students, out of 1500, at Arizona State. I held two executive positions: of VP of Marketing & Communications and VP of Mentorship & Alumni Relations.

Throughout my college years, I’ve had the privilege of working across a wide range of sports and events, gaining hands-on experience in some of the biggest stages in the industry and leagues. From the Super Bowl and both the Men’s and Women’s Final Four to the Fiesta Bowl, Paris Olympics, Baseball, Pickleball, NASCAR , and even combat sports, I’ve developed a diverse skill set. These opportunities have allowed me to sharpen my expertise in social media, brand marketing, and content creation while contributing to memorable experiences for fans and athletes alike. I’m passionate about telling stories that capture the energy and excitement of sports, and I look forward to continuing to bring that enthusiasm to my work.

In Summer of 2024, I got to work at the World's Biggest stage: The Paris Summer Olympics. I interned at the Team USA House and with the USOPC with a select group of 12 Sports Business Students.

I’m excited to continue growing my career in the world of sports media and marketing; and I’m ready to make an impact in the sports industry, telling stories that inspire and connect people.
